The Stanley Cup

The Stanley Cup

It was the second period and the Leafs were behind by two goals, which was understandable as the Bruins were a tough team to beat. In game seven the Bruins win in the 2019 playoffs and the Leafs are out.

The Leafs have not won the Stanley Cup since playing against the Montreal Canadiens back in 1967. In total the Toronto Maple Leafs have won the cup 13 times.

Fans are a dedicated bunch that come out every year to cheer on the Leafs watching them make it to playoffs only to be heartbroken year after year.

I’m sure their goal to win will eventually come, and I hope it’s sooner than later.

I never got into hockey for the very simple reason, I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to skate backwards.
