
Principal Taylor used his intercom to ask Pete to come to his office right away, however, Pete was in the gym playing basketball with his class and the principal was having a hard time speaking over the noise of the game.
“Let me see if I can get my assistant to go and get Pete.”
“Do you want me to stay or would you prefer to speak with my son alone?”
“I’d prefer you to stay if you don’t mind.”
Miss Ashford, principal Taylor’s assistant spoke with the coach and he called Pete over to go to the office.
Pete was curious to find out what and why the principal wanted to see him and couldn’t for the life of him figure it out as he hadn’t done anything wrong and had nothing to worry about.
