Escaping – Senryu

The following was written in response to Tale Weaver #270 – Escape.

Tale weaver

Each night I look forward to bedtime. Snuggling up under the covers makes me feel safe and secure. Safe for at least five or six hours depending on how tired I am. This is when I get to put all my worries aside and escape the daily routine of life as of late.

Slumber comes easy

Slipping into my dreamland

Escaping anguish
