Guilty or Innocent – Part 11

The following was written for a challenge called #SixSentenceStory over at Denise’s. This week’s prompt word is “Right”.

My story is ongoing and I began writing it on March 18th. It is about a boy by the name of Pete Patterson. During a random locker check a bag of pot was found in Pete’s locker. If you’d like to read this from the beginning, it starts here.

“Right! Of course, he had no idea what you were talking about, what little hoodlum is going to admit to something like this, Pete’s dad said, feeling his blood pressure rise. Can we just get to the results of the test you had done?”

“You’ll be happy to know that the plant in question was not marijuana, it is Texas Star Hibiscus, which looks quite similar to pot. Taylor continued on saying, now Pete, what were you planning on doing with this bag of Texas Star Hibiscus?”

Jane then stood up, Oh my God, you have to be kidding, you actually think that this still belongs to my son!”
