I love lilacs… but they’ve fallen out of fashion with British gardeners; only seen in the gardens of the elderly
I almost bought a lilac this past weekend. Had it in my hand and then opted for something else. Mistake! I need to go back to the garden center. I love their fragrance, and I love your haiku.

Oooooh, I love this–lilacs are one of my very favorite flowers, the perfume is intoxicating.
