PROMPT WORD:  RANDOM

I’ve not been writing very much as of late and my writer’s block is very bothersome. My six sentence story/acrostic poem seems a bit silly to me but I have to start somewhere right?

Right or wrong, you can sing it in a song

Any time of day or night, sing with delight

New lyrics are fun to write to a special song you like

D can sound like a major or often as a minor

Open your heart sing whether you’re happy or sad

Make someone’s day, make them smile today

  1. I am struggling to come UP with interesting topics I feel I’m failing daily! It’s not just the pandemic, it’s the state of affairs everywhere.

The world is mad. Mad I say, mad!
    (Not that I am…wink, wink.)

  2. I don’t sing as much as I used to. I wonder why? I suspect it’s because I’m older and I can’t sing as well as I once could. I think I need to get over that and start crooning again. Thanks for the reminder, Susan!
