Each week Denise over at Girlie On The Edge challenges us to write a six sentence story or poem.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

PROMPT WORD: RANDOM
I’ve not been writing very much as of late and my writer’s block is very bothersome. My six sentence story/acrostic poem seems a bit silly to me but I have to start somewhere right?
Right or wrong, you can sing it in a song
Any time of day or night, sing with delight
New lyrics are fun to write to a special song you like
D can sound like a major or often as a minor
Open your heart sing whether you’re happy or sad
Make someone’s day, make them smile today
You are speaking for all of us, Susan. It is very hard to continually come up with ideas. Sometimes writing down random thoughts is the best idea to keep writing and not be discouraged.

Whenever I get writers block I feel guilty.

I am struggling to come UP with interesting topics I feel I’m failing daily! It’s not just the pandemic, it’s the state of affairs everywhere.
The world is mad. Mad I say, mad!
(Not that I am…wink, wink.)

Lots of people are struggling to write, Susan. C-19 has upset our lives a great deal so it is to be expected. I enjoyed your post.

I don’t sing as much as I used to. I wonder why? I suspect it’s because I’m older and I can’t sing as well as I once could. I think I need to get over that and start crooning again. Thanks for the reminder, Susan!

I tend to hum more than sing these days. 🙂
